- 2010-03-03: A government-sponsored fundraiser – a teletón – will be held in Chile. The event is co-arranged by Un techo para Chile (a roof for Chile).
- 2010-03-02 – stats: 723 dead, 19 missing, 44300 sought for by Google, 157 after shocks, 4 bridges collapsed in the region, 10000 military personnel deployed.
